Temple
Beth Shalom
Dramatic
appearance and fantastic acoustics were the final results
of this extremely difficult application of Dark Red K-13.
The acoustical material was applied at 2.2" between 16"
on-center wood roof rafters, and the remainder of the wood
was painted to match. The slates, which give an appearance
of depth, were added following the application. The versatility
of K-13 in conforming to a multitude of angles and pitches
along with custom color made it the first choice in this application

Ohabei Shalom
This
spectacular before and after is thanks to 3 special colors
of K-13"fc" and magnificent 150 year old architecture.
Following an asbestos removal procedure, K-13"fc"
was selected for its ability to be manufactured in any color.
The color matching of the historic colors was completed in
approximately 2 weeks with the custom material delivered to
the job site ready for application. Due to the irregular substrate,
the K-13"fc" was rolled and over sprayed to ensure
an even layer of acoustical material. The 4 week operation,
including scaffolding removal, was completed on time 3 days
before a scheduled wedding.

United

This
simple but effective application of Sona-Spray"fc"
was retrofitted over a three day period without alterations
to lighting or electrical fixtures. Unfortunately during construction
of this new facility, acoustics were not a major concern,
it was not until the sound system was tested did designers
realize the severity of the problem. Applied at .5",
Noise Reduction Coefficient of .65, the Sona-Spray has lowered
the reverberation time and made gatherings an enjoyable experience
for the parishioners of the United Methodist Church. Once
again the application was than 30% more costly due to the
retrofit application.

CBT
taps Sona-Spray "fc" for acoustical control in this
recent renovation of a historic catholic church in Cambridge
Massachusetts. The ability of Sona-Spray "fc" to
conform to the towering arched ceiling provides reverberation
control without detracting from the original architecture.
Applied at 1", in conjunction with hanging deflection
panels, the Sona-Spray "fc" compliments the high
production musical performances at services.
