Mohegan
Sun Casino
The open floor
plan and high ceiling design at the New Mohegan Casino and
Resort in Uncasville Connecticut required an acoustical treatment
that would lower the reverberation time while enhancing the
ethnic decor of this beautiful 100,000 square foot facility.
K-13 Black was chosen for its multiple performance characteristics.
K-13 Black was applied to an average thickness of .75"
to achieve a Noise Reduction Coefficient of .65. The specification
of K-13 provided an economical and speedy application along
with the desired "Black Out Effect", and the ability
to conform to a variety of ceiling substrates.
